Ah-ha!!! There it is!

I found my blog. I knew it had to be somewhere, but for the life of me I could not remember where I was the last time I had it. I retraced lots of steps, but to no avail. And don't ya know, about the time you give up and just stop looking for something - TA DA!!!!! It must be magic.



Here we are, another Monday. We had a nice weekend. We raked the leaves in the yard on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Each day it took about 2 hours, but we cleaned up all of the leaves. Only to wake up the next morning and see just as many back on the ground. This wouldn't be such a big deal, if WE had any trees in our yard. All of the leaves are falling from my neighbors trees and landing in my yard. I was thinking of taking down the fence for a couple of weeks to let the wind just blow them into the other yards ;) I did get to use my new leaf blower/vac, it worked pretty good. I found that it was much easier to have the boys rake the leaves into rows and then have me come by and suck them up. They enjoyed spending time outside and I enjoyed watching them play.

We did a little maintenance on the vehicles too - oil changes, tire rotation, etc... Nothing too "mechanical", but just some minor stuff to re-fill the testosterone tank. We fired up the snowblower and made sure it was ready to go. The rumor is that we are in store for a mild winter this year. I've heard that joke before, not falling for it this year.

We also decided this weekend that I am going to go back to school. I am going to go back and take some programming classes to help broaden my career paths. It should start in early January and run for about 2 years. Can you feel the excitement? yeah, me neither. The idea of learning is great, its the idea of 2 years of being tired, stressed, late, overly-busy, short on patience, etc... that I am not looking forward to.


Oh well, c'est la vie!!!
